ARTTIC

ArtticFounded in 1987, ARTTIC is the leading European group dedicated to consultancy and management services in international R&D partnerships.
Over the last 20 years ARTTIC has successfully supported over 120 projects with consultancy and project management services and gained an unequalled experience and skills in the set-up and management of international R&D collaborations. The staff of ARTTIC is fully dedicated to these activities and has a unique expertise in the various operational management tasks.

ARTTIC supports international project consortia in various R&D domains: information and telecommunication technologies, transports, education, health, bio-technologies, automotive industry, aeronautics, industrial technologies, new materials and microelectronics.
ARTTIC is the partner responsible for project management in several large FP6 integrated projects (IP). In the LIFE programme, ARTTIC is involved in four IPs: FunGenES (Functional Genomics in Engineered Embryonic Stem cells), RIGHT (RNA Interference Technology as Human Therapeutic Tool), INNOMED (new approaches for accelerated development of new, safe and more effective medicines) and INCA (role of chronic infections in the development of cancer). ARTTIC is also involved in the NOE CONTICANET (rare cancers) and four STREPS: TargetHerpes, CRYSTAL (cryopreservation of stem cells), COBRED (Colon and Breast cancer Diagnostics) and SIMAP (modelling and simulation of the MAP kinase pathway).
MetaFight is the first FP7 project under the Health topic managed by ARTTIC.

In MetaFight, ARTTIC (France) will be in charge of the project management (WP7) and provide methods, tools and operational support for the collaboration within the consortium.
ARTTIC will then support the consortium in the daily management and administrative tasks to ensure the collaboration is working, the project is properly monitored and decisions and actions are prepared and taken according to the project progress. An important aspect of the role of ARTTIC is also to simplify as much as possible the work of the researchers and to develop a collaborative team spirit inside the consortium.
